Home to Australia’s most easterly point and the iconic Cape Byron lighthouse, the region is known for its spectacular beaches, unique shopping and dining experiences, world-class festivals, and vibrant community spirit. SAE Byron Bay is an impressive purpose-built educational music institute, boasting state-of-the-art facilities and set amongst beautiful sub-tropical gardens, just 5 minutes (2km) from town. There are no swimming facilities on campus but there are many nearby beaches, pools or rivers to explore. Transport: Ballina Airport is the nearest airport. Visit the link for information on Shuttle Buses, taxis and hire cars. Other airports include, Gold Coast Airport, Brisbane Airport and you may wish to consider Train or Coach or Uber. Blanches Bus Company can transfer you to and from Byron Bay township from the venue on a daily basis (see timetable and stops in link). Blanches takes cash only and you can also wave it down if it is safe enough for it to pull over. |
